Ovulation
Ovulation is the process by which an egg is released from the ovary. Generally, sperm can only survive in the female body for 3 days, while the egg can survive for 1 day, after which the ability to conceive is lost.
If the egg is released too early or too late, it can affect conception. By detecting Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in urine, it is possible to determine whether ovulation is imminent, helping to identify the optimal fertility window or safe contraception period.
Operation Procedure
Slowly insert a disposable sampling swab into the posterior vaginal fornix (4-5 cm deep), gently rotate for 10-20 seconds, and absorb as much secretion as possible.
Place the swab into a sample tube containing diluent, rinse thoroughly, and squeeze the tube walls to ensure the attached secretions are fully dislodged.
Discard the swab, tighten the sample tube cap, remove the top cap of the tube, discard the first two drops, and then add 2-3 drops of the sample suspension to the sample well of the test card.
Interpret the results within 5-10 minutes.
