On the morning of May 18, 2024, the "3rd Central South University Biomedical Engineering Innovation Forum" was successfully held in the 4th floor lecture hall of Fuqing Building, Xiangya New Campus. The forum was hosted by the Basic Medical College of Central South University, undertaken by the Biomedical Engineering Research Center of Central South University, and co-organized by the Hunan Provincial Society of Biomedical Engineering. Invited speakers included Professor Zhang Xianen from Shenzhen University of Technology (under preparation), Professor Xue Ping from Tsinghua University, Professor Yuan Quan from Hunan University, Chairman Ding Jianwen from iView Technology, Researcher Men Dong from Guangzhou Laboratory, and Professor Zhou Cheng from South China University of Technology. Attendees included Wang Kangkai, Party Secretary of the Basic Medical College of Central South University; Xiong Wei, Dean of the Basic Medical College; Huang He, Vice Dean of the Basic Medical College; Chen Haobin, Party Branch Secretary of the Department of Biomedical Engineering; Dong Zhuoxin, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center; and Zheng Zhe, Resident Secretary-General of the Hunan Provincial Society of Biomedical Engineering. The meeting was chaired by Professor Tian Bo from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Basic Medical College of Central South University. Over 100 teachers and students from the university attended and interacted with the six experts.

Chairman Ding Jianwen was the only entrepreneur to give a themed presentation at this forum, one of whose main purposes was university-enterprise collaboration.
