Under the guidance of the National Health Commission, the "Early Screening, Early Diagnosis, Strengthening Primary Care, and Healthy China Public Welfare Campaign," initiated by the China Social Relief Foundation, is being vigorously implemented nationwide. Using mobile health screening vehicles as a medium, it conducts preventive screenings and early diagnosis and treatment for five diseases (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD, and chronic kidney disease) and five cancers (lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, and prostate cancer), contributing to the construction of a "Healthy China."
The screening vehicle is fully covered by a 5G network and equipped with various devices such as Aowei Technology's urine analyzer, low-dose spiral CT, ultrasound, and intelligent AI image reader, allowing for multiple examinations including urine, CT, ultrasound, and blood tests. Urine tests alone encompass 14 items, widely used in clinical settings and possessing significant clinical value. The urine glucose test can indirectly monitor blood glucose levels safely and non-invasively, while the urine ketone test can detect diabetic ketoacidosis early. Urine microalbumin, creatinine, and UACR tests help identify early kidney damage. The screening vehicle brings testing previously only available in medical institution laboratories to the grassroots, with all test results generated on-site and data directly transmitted to doctors' iPads. It also enables remote expert guidance via telemedicine and image cloud systems, and provides professional treatment advice based on the examination reports.
Since its launch on April 14, 2021, at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the mobile health screening vehicle has traveled across China, covering Zhejiang, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hunan, Jiangsu, and other regions. By collaborating with local medical institutions and personnel, it provides early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases and cancers for the general public, especially those in remote areas, allowing grassroots residents to enjoy quality medical services at their doorstep. It has already benefited tens of thousands of people.
By linking local high-quality medical resources and creating mobile early screening service stations for chronic diseases and cancer, it not only provides grassroots residents with "zero-distance" efficient, accurate, and convenient medical and health services but also helps improve primary-level diagnosis and treatment capabilities and the overall medical system. It raises public awareness of health screenings and disease prevention and control, making medical and health services more proactive and effective. It promotes wider and more active participation in "early screening, early diagnosis, and early treatment," making it practical and accessible.
